Built in 1947 by George Burris, this home was originally a hunting and fishing lodge and a center of entertainment for his family. After extensive remodeling in 2000, this resort home is now a grand resort home for our family and yours. Built on a large sand dune, just one block off the beach, this home features commanding views of the beach and the Texas Gulf.

Sleeping 14 comfortably it is host to many families, fishing and hunting parties and corporate retreats year round.

The amenities and simple elegance of Summerplace are unequaled. Located on 1.86 acres, the 5,500 square foot home is a resort in itself. The stunning home features six bedrooms including two master suites. The views from the poolside deck and upper deck are also unequaled. The built-in pool provides hours of enjoyment when you're ready for a break from the sand. The gourmet kitchen has all the tools to fix that exquisite meal to be served in a dining room that can seat 24. Include a ping pong table, wet bar, card table, surround sound stereo and tv system, couches to lounge on and a few bar stools and Summerplace becomes a home away from home.
